Good habits are important because the right attitude enhances aptitude. An element critical for success in life is being proactive, said one Hotel’s GM. In facing challenges in life and at the workplace, we need to be proactive rather than reactive. This requires energy and the ability to control negative emotions. For instance, if we wish to be proactive in planning, we begin by visualizing the end we want. So before starting any projects , think broad terms what you want your objective and goals to be. What do you actually hope to achieve?.
Put first things first and stay focused on the task at hand. Must be passionate about what you do and believe that you can achieve what you hope to achieve through practice self-discipline and time management.
Learn to say ‘no’ to anything which may hinder you as you strive to achieve your goals.
SO?? how can a person who is busy climbing the corporate ladder balance work commitments and a healthy lifestyle? To divide my life into compartments. During working hours, I focus on my job and the people around me. After work, I devote my full attention to my family , recreation and travel. (try something new .. Dance classes / Martial arts )
It’s important to maintain a favorable ying and yang balance in the three most important compartments of life- health, family and work.
If you have good health , you can enjoy time with your family, If you’re happy with your family, then you’ll be more effective in your workplace.
