The two prevalent file system formats for PCs are FAT32 and NTFS. Performance is very similar between the two systems.

NTFS is a newer file system that is compatible only with Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. It has fewer limitations than FAT32 and will enable a partition to be created that is larger the 32GB.

FAT32 is a file system that is compatible with Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. In Windows 2000 and Windows XP, you will not be able to create a partition greater than 32GB (using FAT32).

Here we have the Dell Studio 14 laptop which according to dell delivers a personalized high definition 14.1 inch widescreen laptop along with rich multimedia features, which is a pretty cool description; one small problem though, the Dell Studio 14 is only destined for Dell Malaysia so far.

The dell Studio 14 apparently incorporates a 14.1inch LED-backlit 1280 x 800 display, Core 2 Duo T8100 2.10GHz processor, X3100 integrated graphics, 2GB of RAM, and a 250GB HDD.

All that will set you back 3599 RM, which is roughly around $1038.00, oh and for your hard earned RM’s you get some magical media playback controls thrown in, how sweet.

Many were not so impressed with the price package though

UltraISO can extract, create, edit, and convert CD/DVD image files. It can directly edit an ISO file, make ISO images from CD/DVD-ROMs, create a new ISO from files and folders on your computer, and make bootable CDs and DVDs. In addition, UltraISO can convert nearly all known CD and DVD image formats to ISO, BIN/CUE, Nero (NRG), Alcohol 120% (MDS/MDF), and CloneCD (CCD/IMG/SUB) formats, as well as burn CD/DVD images directly with built-in burning engine and emulate ISO images with up to 8 virtual CD/DVD drives.

Version 9.3.2.2656 supports nature file/folder priority mode (Shift+F12); auto splits ISO/NRG images above 4GB on making DVD images to USB devices with FAT32 volume.

I think it’s worth making a distinction between external blogs and internal to a discussion forum with you, or look at your User Info page and see what you’ve been talking about. External people can’t and in particular external bloggers can’t interact using pingbacks, trackbacks etc. (External trackback/pingback for externally published entries have not yet been fully removed from the code base. There is/has been an admin setting to disable trackback/pingback to/from your site making this a local admin’s choice. I would prefer to allow local admin choice given that some sites are corporate training sites, etc.)

Windows XP Screen Saver tab is missing from the Display Properties. The most likely cause of this is malware utilizing Group Policy Objects which enforces policies for system settings and/or user account(s) settings. The Group Policy for Hide Screen Saver tab will cause the Screen Saver tab to be removed from Display Properties when enabled.

Group Policies are typically applied at businesses to control access to programs, system properties, and user account settings. For Home users, the Screen Saver tab can be restricted (removed) by enforcing Group Policies but malware on your computer is usually the culprit. If you are a home user and the Screen Saver tab is missing from the Display Properties and looks like the pictures below then there is a good chance the computer you were using is infected with malware.

Tools > AutoCorrect [Auto Format As you type ] > Uncheck - Internet and Network path as hyperlinks.

The parsers in Excel 2000 and Excel 2002 automatically create hyperlinks when a text string that can be interpreted as an email address or URL are entered. There are at least five ways of dealing with this if you don’t want these hyperlinks in your sheet.

Prefix the entry with an apostrophe to indicate that the entry should be considered text:’officemvp@microsoft.com

Allow the parser to create the hyperlink, then Undo it, using the Edit/Undo menu, or the CTRL-z or CMD-z keyboard shortcuts. This is easily done if you have only a few entries.

Manually trigger a macro to delete hyperlinks from the Selection (attach to a keyboard shortcut, a toolbar button, or run from the Tools/Macro/Macros dialog):

     Public Sub DeleteSelectionHyperlinks()
        On Error Resume Next
        Selection.Hyperlinks.Delete
        On Error GoTo 0
     End Sub
